About This Course
American English File 1 is an elementary-level English course for learners who already know basic English and want to communicate with more confidence. The course develops all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—with a strong focus on practical, everyday communication in American English.
Students will expand their vocabulary, learn essential grammar structures, and practice speaking in real-life situations such as talking about family, work, daily activities, past experiences, and future plans. Interactive activities, pair work, and listening exercises help learners improve pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension.
